When to Visit Switzerland

Switzerland is beautiful in any season. In the summertime, the weather is perfect. The grass is green, the mountain passes are clear, and there is still snow on top of the mountains. However, in the winter and spring you can do winter sports and truly experience everything the alps have to offer during this time as well. There's no bad time to visit Switzerland--it's all preference.

How to Get There

If you're coming from Europe, flights are routinely cheap and available to Geneva and Zurich. There are also dozens of train connections to Switzerland, as it is in the center of Europe. If you're flying internationally, you'll probably fly into Zurich as it is the hub of Switzerland's flagship airline. Flights are not as cheap as other European cities but still affordable.

Why to Come

Switzerland is a beautiful country that has everything you could ask for. Zurich and Geneva are global and diverse cities that rival all other European cities while still being walkable and pleasant. Leave the urban hubs and in just a few minutes you'll be in the beautiful countryside full of unlimited adventures. And if you do it right, it doesn't have to be expensive!
